A Place To Go

Psalms 119:114
114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
KJV

One of the greatest mistakes people make when they come short of the glory of God is getting under
condemnation and not turning to the word of God. The psalmist said thou art my hiding place. When you have
sinned or made a decision that has not been pleasing to God don't stay out there ashamed to face God and ask
his help and forgiveness. If you do satan is going to beat you down spiritual, mentally, and possibly physically, God
knows what you have done. You probably should be ashamed and should repent and ask forgiveness. He waits
your coming to him as surely as the father of the prodigal son waited for him. And when that son came home with a
humble and a broken heart the Father did not chasten him. He had already been beat up enough. He threw a party
and said my son was dead but now is alive. And your heavenly Father is bigger than the father of the prodigal son.
He will rejoice at your coming. For truly when you were in sin you were dead to the Father but on your return you
have come alive. And the Father will welcome you in and hide you in his word of forgiveness, restoration,
reconciliation or what ever you need.

His word will be your shield and satan cannot get to you to beat you down any longer for the same word that spoke
forgiveness to you will say to the devil "you can't touch him for he is shielded in my word”. And he will stay shielded
in my word as long as he needs to or as often as he needs to. For my word is his hope. And it is a hope that will not
be deferred. It is a hope that will not fade. Though he has come a thousand times to be hidden and find my word as
his shield he can yet come again. This will ever be his hope so you cannot completely destroy him as you have
desired to do. This is his hope that will ever lift him up from your miry pit of sin. This is his hope that always says
yes I am your father and I am here for you. This is his hope that always says no to you devil and you can't have him.

Let me leave you with this verse and where ever satan has beat you down in sin you can get up and there is this
hiding place you can come to.

Psalms 37:25
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
