Big
Psalms 36:5
5 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

We constantly hear reports of new stars being found, new galaxies and solar systems seen through telescopes and these
new discoveries are light years away, my, that is big and then we read this verse that says the mercy of God is in the
heavens and that is big.
The Mercy of God is what we get when we don't deserve it but need it. The mercy of God is one of the things that tells satan
he has to stop right where he is, he can no longer steal from us, continue to try and kill us or destroy us for we have called
on the mercy of God through Jesus Christ and Jesus holds up two nail scarred hands and tells satan to read them for they
have purchased mercy for us and he has to stop and he has to stop now.
The King James Bible says the mercy of God is in the heavens, a better translation is the mercy of God fills the span of the
heavens. His mercy in its magnitude is beyond comprehension and is inconceivable to the mind of man and what David is
saying is you cannot deplete the mercy of God no more than you could deplete the span of heaven so that it could not be,
so if you’re in a position where you need mercy and have forgot how big the mercy of God is, you have just been reminded
and you have a personal invitation from God to ask for it when you need it.
Hebrews 4:16
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Then he says the faithfulness of God reaches to the heavens. The faithfulness of God is right here on earth and it is to you
and I. It is to His word and it is to His mercy and He is saying when you need mercy my faithfulness will reach into the
heavens and get as much mercy as you need because heaven is full of my mercy, and my faithfulness to you will bring it
down.
God is not man who is so inconsistent in their faithfulness. God is faithful every time you and I cry out for that mercy. It will
always be here on earth ready to reach out for you and I. Do not be ashamed to cry out and do not be scared to cry out.
God's faithfulness is your friend who always stands at the ready for you. The trip from earth to heaven and back to earth will
be fast. So don't hesitate to call for what you don't deserve but need and you will have it. The mercy of God.
