Daylight Savings Time
Romans 13:12
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on
the armour of light. KJV
Paul is plainly saying the days of the darkness of our life are behind us. We no longer live as the pawns of
sin and sin no longer dictates our life. So now as children of the day or children of light let us go to work with
the works of light and do what we can to press the church forward into the full measure of the stature of
Jesus Christ. For that measure in the church and only that measure is going to rescue the perishing of this
world.
I really believe this is what he is saying because he said put on the armour of light. Armour is intended for
only one thing and that is warfare. When he said put on the armour of light. he is speaking to the whole
church. There is a suit of armour to fit everyone. No exceptions. When the armour is on and in place we walk
back into the night, into the enemy’s camp,
no longer pawns of darkness but soldiers of light, there to do just what Jude said.
Jude 22
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: KJV
When as children of the light in our full suit of armour we walk back into the enemy’s camp and see those still
in sin and enjoying the sin, it can cause the heart to want to be a little hard, and if it does become hard we will
not do what God's soldiers should do. We will say they like it and are enjoying the sin. Their choice, leave
them to it. No, no never do this. Have compassion and make a difference in their lives. Compassion will allow
your heart to break and you as a good soldier of light will begin to fight the good fight of faith for them in
prayer. Interceding for them and asking the Holy Spirit to convict them and show you a way to touch their
heart that they might be saved. You will not judge them, you will become their Good Samaritan.
Having done this you won't stop here. You will look around and see those that are perishing in the flames of
hell. They are not quite consumed but they are almost gone. And with the power of God's anointing as the
good soldier of Christ you will take hold of them with the weapons of your warfare and pull them from the
flame. You as a soldier will learn to pull the people as brands from the fire. It will go down in your record book
for heavenly rewards and heaven will rejoice at every rescue...
So let us put on our armor and terrorize the enemy’s camp until it is empty of all but its demon forces. Let us
be quick to do so as I leave you with this verse.
Romans 13:11
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer
than when we believed. KJV
