Do The Math
2 Peter 1:8-11
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never
fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ.

If we have done our math and done it correctly we will all have the right answers. But notice verse 8. "If these things be in you
and abound" What has just been added to your life must be constantly producing in you and if they are producing in you, you will
never, ever, never be barren or unfruitful in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. All that Jesus had going on when He was here on
earth will be going on with us. As we do the works He did and greater, these works will be going on with us as we imitate Him as
dear little children. They will be going on with us in our relationship with His father and ours. The love of God will radiate through
us. The Holy Ghost anointing that Jesus had on Him will be on us. The compassion of God will flow through us. My friend if these
things are going on and abounding in us we will be productive in every area as Jesus was except for the supreme sacrifice He
carried out for our salvation that set the grace of God and peace with God upon us.
Do you understand this? We take no glory from God to imitate Jesus. We give Him glory when we imitate Jesus and abound in
every good work as Jesus did.
At the same time we should take note that if we lack these things we are walking in the dark of sin again. We are walking as blind
men groping for someone to lead them because the word of God is not abounding in us. The word of God is no longer a lamp
unto our feet and a light unto our path. We have forgotten that we were set free from sin and now it is abounding in us again. We
on the other hand will never fall from grace if we with great determination are careful to do these things. You know your
multiplication and addition.
Do the math in multiplication and addition with God or do the division and subtraction with the devil.
