Psalms 119:96
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.
KJV

When my father died he was on an operating table undergoing open heart surgery. Just as they removed his heart
from his body he had a massive heart attack. The specialists were there. They flew in equipment from up north and
worked with him around the clock but he still died. The best technology known to man was there but they could not
help him and that is what the Psalmist is saying here. He is saying, at its best technology comes to a place where it
cannot help and it cannot take man any further. It comes to a place where it is helpless no matter its wonderful
engineering and design.
But that will not be the case with the living word of God. It will never come to a place where it is bound by design and
can do or go no further. It is quite the contrary. When mans design and technology can go no further on man’s
behalf the word of God takes up mans cause and continues to work for him to bring the need to satisfied fruition.
The bible is full of these testimonies.

There is the red sea crossing, the Jordan crossing, feeding the multitude for forty years, the fall of the Jericho walls
and the list goes on but I would like to look at one on more of a personal note. How many of you are in debt and
have tried everything you could to get out of debt yet things just grew worse and it looks as all will be lost.
There is a story in 2 Kings 4:1-7 like yours. It is about a prophet who borrowed and got into bad debt, then died and
left the burden to his wife, the wife did all she could do but the debt was not paid and as was the custom of the day
they were going to take her sons as payment for the debt but then a man of God arrived on the scene, the mother
told the prophet the problem and he said we are going to solve this problem with what you have and make no
further debt so he asks what do you have, she said a little oil, he told her to fill up vessels with the oil and she did
so and said there is still oil in that little bottle, he said borrow as many vessels as you can and fill them also, she did
so and then he told her to sell the oil, pay the debt and live off the rest of the money.

This is what the psalmist was talking about. The woman had come to her end and there was no way to keep going.
The word of the Lord which has no end came and gave her a plan which included a miracle. She was out of debt. If
your reading this and in bad debt get a word from the Lord on what to do, don't keep borrowing, follow God's
advice. It may include a miracle and it will always include wise planning, deligence and stewardship. Follow God’s
advice and you will come out of debt and with wise planning, stay out of debt. The ideas of man that could help you
have come to an end but the word of God will not be bound. Get a word from God.
