God’s Somebody
Proverbs 12:28
28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

There was a time in my life that I feared dying but there was a time in my life that I feared living also and the truth be known
I feared living more than dying. My life was undone in sin and nothing I did ever turned out right. The harder I tried the
worse I did. It seemed I was destined to fail. I was an accident waiting to happen. My teachers at school told me I was not
teachable, they put me in the slow class, as they called it. When I went to work they called me accident prone and they said
the world was better off without people like me. I had done many wrong things and life would just be better if I could go to
sleep and not wake up. The only thing that kept me going was a mother and a father that could neither read nor write, for
whatever reason they believed in me and my Father said I could do anything I put my mind to. The only problem is most
had convinced me that I had no mind and would never amount to anything.
I don't have a great success story to tell you but I do have a victorious story to tell you and that story comes from this verse.
In the way of righteousness there is life. There is life! There is life! Not just the act of breathing and perpetual movement.
But life, the life of God in me, I am some body, I can do things well in life, I do amount to something, I am teachable, I am
better off living than dead, the world would not be better off without me, they need me, people need me, God needs me, His
church needs me, the unsaved world needs me, my Family needs me, I have the life of God in me, I have His spirit, His
nature and His ability, I can do anything, for nothing is impossible to him that believes.
There is a plan and a future for me. There is something that God for whatever reason created me to do that no one else
can do and this is what is good in this life, there is no death, oh yes there is dying in the natural but when that happens I
just get a new body. I will never die. I am alive in Christ and will be through out eternity and God calls me son. He calls me
by name, He talks to me and He listens to me. I am somebody and so are you. Take Jesus as your Savior and live the God
life and always believe what God says you are and can do and not what man says your not and can't do. After all they are
just people and what do they know above God and God is not people and He knows everything. Let me leave you with two
verses and get excited about your LIFE.
Ephesians 6:10
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future.
NIV
Just give God thanks. He created you to be His somebody. You will make mistakes but that does not change you from being
God's somebody.
