Hold Fast The Word Of God
Deuteronomy 11:18-21
18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they
may be as frontlets between your eyes.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way,
when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give
them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

This is just a reminder. This is not an "I told you so" It is a reminder of something in the word of God that we must prove and hold
fast.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless
unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lest we let something slip and loose our grip and miss something of God's good trip.
Hebrews 2:1-3
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto
us by them that heard him;

Proving and holding to prevent slippage is done by way of use. All God’s word is good and becomes good for your use and works
for you only when you use it. So here is the reminder.
Lay up or store my word in your heart and soul. Out of the heart flow the issues of life. When the word of God is stored in the heart
and soul the issues of life will flow through the word of God and be identified as good or not good for your life. Thus giving the soul,
the mind, the will and the emotions grounds for making the right decisions to act upon in life giving us joy for the trip.
Put the word in your hand. Do nothing without doing it by the strength of the word of God. Put the word of God before your eyes.
See everything through the word of God. If what you’re looking at can't be seen through the word of God. Then it doesn’t need to
be seen.
Teach the word of God to your children. The word of God is passed from generation to generation through teaching. Not
inheritance. If the next generation of saints does not know how to pray, praise, worship and rightly divide the word of God. Then it is
because the word of God was not taught. It was not household conversation. Instead it was Oprah. It was not our daily companion.
Instead it was the world news. We slept with other things than the word of God and we got up from our sleep still in the dark instead
of the enlightenment of the word of God that would have got up with us had we slept with it. The word of God was not the door by
which we entered each day and was not the door by which we finished. Write the word on your gate post. Thus all the passer bys of
this life will know you and identify you with the word of God. They will know what should proceed from this home and they will know
what is and is not welcome in this home. The devils wife, sin and her foul offspring of poverty, sickness and disease will know they
are not welcome. However the blessings of God will pass by, see the word of God on your abode and say. We will enter and stay!
Because of the abiding word of God you and your children’s days will be multiplied and those days will be days of heaven on earth!
What is days of heaven on earth. THE WILL OF GOD!
