I’m Not Going Anywhere

Acts 2:25
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I
should not be moved:
KJV

Have you ever been somewhere that you believed you should be and should stay? Have you ever started doing
something you believed you should do yet you could not explain it to any one. Have you ever taken a stand for or
against something and yet no one would stand with you. If so this word is for you.

Number one David said the Lord was always before his face. Not Oprah, the daily news commentary or the agenda
of the sports field. He said the Lord was always before his face.

David said the Lord was the light in front of me that I followed. The Lord was the light at my feet that I walked by.
The Lord is my counsel and always my hearing. He was before me and only because he was before me could I
stand before a nation as a king. (of whom the Lord said David is a man after my own heart). Only because the Lord
was before me could I slay my ten thousands. Only because the Lord was before me could I slay a giant. Only
because the Lord was before me could I return to Jerusalem after Absalom rebelled against me and deceived me.
Only because the Lord was before me and I was the apple of his eye could I escape the persecution of King Saul.
The Lord before me is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. The Lord is my high tower before me. I do not
know what all you face or what all you are dealing with today. But I know this if you, like David will keep the Lord
before you. Not beside or behind you. But before you. He will then take a stand at your right hand because you
have always put him first. And what ever you are dealing with. Where ever he has ordained you to be. What ever
stand he has ordered you to take. Whether people understand or not. You like David will not be moved. You can
sing the old song " just like a tree planted by the waters I shall not be moved”. And if the Lord is at your right hand
then my friend you are planted by the river of life and you will not be moved. It may get rough as the gulf and twice
as salty but you will not be moved. Let me leave you with an agreeing word from the Apostle Paul

2 Timothy 4:16-18
16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their
charge.
17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known,
and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be
glory for ever and ever. Amen.
