Just A Day

The bible says one day is as a thousand years with God and a thousand years as one day. Hence a day means a lot to God
and in one day He created some part of His creation until after seven days His creation was complete. A day should be equally
important to us. For what is it that we can produce to the good of man and to the Glory of God and like God if you don't finish
what you started the first day He will give you at least five more days. He told Noah to build an ark, it took one hundred and
twenty years but he built the ark one day at a time until it was finished.

I was really surprised at how often God refers to days instead of weeks, months or years. He said this is the day the Lord hath
made let us rejoice and be glad in it. He speaks of the day of the Lords visitation, the judgment day, the day of restoration, the
day of His return, the day of His crucifixion, the day of His passion, to the penitent thief He said this day shall you be with me in
paradise. He was three days in the bowels of the earth, it was the day of the Lords supper in the upper room, the day of His
trial, the day of His betrayal, the day of His resurrection and when He returns for us to take us to glory, after the thousand
year rein on earth there will be neither day nor night, just one continuous day. A day here on earth has twenty four hours
which constitute one thousand four hundred and forty minutes or eight million six hundred and forty thousand seconds and I
ask what will we do with all this time which is one day given unto us?  For when the disciples ask Jesus to teach them to pray
part of that prayer was give us this day our daily supply of bread, this day ‘The day you have made and caused us to live in’,
the day that we have and we, by your supply and command have dominion over it, to come and go, to do or not to do. Give us
our supply of bread for this day that you have created and given us, bread to sustain our bodies and your word to sustain our
life for this day, the only day we have to say thy will be done for yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised.

James 4:13-17
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and
get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time,
and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

This is our day. What shall we do with it and how shall we use it and joy in it. For once this day is gone it is no longer our day
and we know not that we shall have another.
Have a good day.
