THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY LIFE
Psalms 27:1
1 A Psalm of David.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

In this verse of scripture there are two questions and two statements.
The two questions have only two answers if we believe the two statements. What are the answers? No one, no one. What do
you know? Double negatives. That is a good set of twins to have in a world where so many are in fear and afraid.
In fear of living because of what they cannot do and too often it is only because they do not know God or trust him to help
them. Afraid of dying because they are not ready to meet their maker or they are just not ready and do not know how to keep
on living.
In this passage the word fear mean's "make to dread" and one of the meaning's of afraid is, "make to shake". David simply
said who is it and what could they possible do or have that could make me shake or tremble?!
He said for all the logical reasoning some folk seem to have to dread and shake I have two reasons why I will not. I do not have
to dread and shake in terror. And these two reasons disprove all the logical reasoning as to why normal people should dread
and shake under certain circumstances. How good are these two reasons? They are really not good reasons, they are God
absolutes. For God made the statements I have proclaimed as the two reason's. They are not debatable and cannot be
disputed with any proof, for what God says is totally true. To try and dispute them you would have to prove God is a liar. And
that cannot be done! God and His word are one, to dispute His word you would have to dispute God. Satan the father of all
lies tried that and failed.
So these two reasons are undisputable, fail safe and can be totally relied on. All the time, anywhere, by anyone, in any
situation and they can apply to every circumstance that caused every situation! Let's look at mine, yours (if you want them to
be) and David's reasons or statements of faith which will always give a good state of our's and God's union address.
Number one; The Lord is my light and salvation: If the Lord is my light and I stay in the light by walking in love and in the light
of the word of God. Then what is it of the darkness that can penetrate that light and find substance for survival. The things of
darkness may come but they must die upon arrival for there is nothing in the light of which they can live. The first chapter of
John gives a God statement and says darkness and its offspring of sin, disease, poverty or anything else it may have must
flee the light or die there. Praise The Lord. We who have trusted Jesus as our Saviour are called the children of light. We
have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ. So let us live in
the light, fear free! David also said in this first reason that the Lord is also our salvation. Meaning this, the Lord is everything I
need when ever and where ever. Make this personal and say” Lord you are my salvation, now name what you need of his
salvation for it is yours, thank him for it, stay in praise and don't dread!
Second reason is to keep you stable while you face whatever you are facing. Enabling you to stand in God's ability, now today
in the situation and circumstance no matter what they may be! Here it is. THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY LIFE. Just
keep walking in this word for it has the promise of life now. Your physical body may not always have the strength to keep going
but God does and he is the strength of your life.
No dread and no shaking in terror.
