There Is Peace
My spouse just filed for divorce. My son is on drugs. My daughter is pregnant and not married. They foreclosed on our house.
Lost my job after 30 years. The doctor said the cancer is untreatable. He was killed in the war.
Too late, Too far gone.
You and I have heard these statements and many more. Does not matter whether we can get many of these changed into a
blessing or not. The fact is these are satans design to steal our God given peace. And another fact is this. No matter what you
and I face or go through we can have the peace of God at all times!
I have seen folk weep, wring their hands and pull their hair out for the want of peace of spirit and mind. The truth is you don't have
to weep, wring your hands or pull your hair out to have peace. You can have the peace of God at any and all times but you can
only have that sustaining peace Gods way.
All the peace of God begins with peace with God through Jesus as our Lord and Savior. And that peace with God brings you to be
able to access by faith all the grace of God.
Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

When you and I have peace with God we can have all the peace of God by faith in God. God's grace provides that peace and we
don't have to do without it unless we are willing to let satan steal it or we are ignorant of the fact.
I like what Isaiah says in chapter 26:1-4. Especially verse 3.
Isaiah 26:1-4
1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

God will keep him or her in PERFECT peace. That means nothing lacking that is necessary for your peace. PERFECT peace
whose MIND is stayed on the Lord. Not on the News Medias reports. Oprah or anything else. Not on what satan has cast in your
path to steal your peace. Whether it is a sin or a sickness. Stay your mind on the Lord through staying your mind on His word. On
what He says and then trust Him to do just as He says.
Stay your mind on Him by speaking His word and not the method and manner satan is using to steal your peace.
Psalms 119:165
165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

This verse says GREAT peace have they that love the word of God and NOTHING will offend them. People that love the word of
God will give themselves to the word of God in obedience to the word of God and great is their peace. Not small but great. That
means greater than what ever was trying to steal your peace.
People who love and give themselves to the word of God will not be offended at anything. Offended people have no peace great
or other wise. They have nothing but turmoil of mind and they try to share that with everybody they come in contact with. Folk who
love God's word and gives themselves to it will forgive the offender and let the offence go. They will not dwell on the offence or
share it with others. They will Just let it go and great peace will prevail in their life.
Proverbs 19:11
11 Good sense makes a man restrain his anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression or an offense. AMP
This verse is worth reading a time or two. Just look over the offence and let it go. It is a glorious thing to do.
I know that we have the peace of God when we have peace with God because John 14:27 says we do.
John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your
hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit
yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] AMP
So take control of your life. You may or may not be able to control what is trying to steal your peace. You may have to go through
some things.
1 Peter 5:10
10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His
[own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely,
and strengthen, and settle you. AMP
But one thing is for sure. You can take control of your self and your emotions. When satan came for Jesus. Jesus did not stop him
from coming but he took control of himself and made this statement;
John 14:30
30 I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has
nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.] AMP
It applies to you and I also. Satan has no claim on me, has nothing in common with me, there is nothing in me that belongs to him,
he has NO POWER OVER ME! Now if satan has any of his sin in you he has a legal right to be there.
Proverbs 26:2
2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. KJV
So if he does have sin in you. Repent and resist satan and he will have to go. In Jesus name take the peace He has given you.
Then of course peace comes through our prayer life and is sustained by our thought life.
Philippians 4:5-9
5 Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness (your considerateness, your forbearing spirit). The Lord is
near [He is coming soon].
6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ( definite
requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
7 And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from
God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison
and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence,
if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
9 Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of
peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.

Praise the Lord! As Nike says "just do it ". God designed this peace. His peace for you and I. He is not shook up and disgruntled.
He is at peace. Let us be as He is, as children imitating the Father. The world may not have or be at peace but you and I can.
God, in Jesus Name guarantees it.
