The Righteousness of God

2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
KJV

What is it to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? It sounds good but what is it? Is it more than being the sons of God?
What is its intended value in the earth? IN heaven and in hell? Its value is the price paid to redeem man from sin, the blood of
Jesus. The value recognized as enough in heaven, as conqueror in hell and as the price for an ever lasting entrance into
God's presence on earth. The covering of man that satan cannot trespass. That is the value of the righteousness of God. Now
what is it to be that righteousness here on earth? It is the recognized rightness of God upon man. The rightness which satan
cannot accuse or condemn. The rightness that released him from heaven, the rightness which defeated him in his temptation
of Jesus and the rightness that defeated him forever in hell.
It is what he sees when we walk as that rightness here on earth instead of the weak, frailness of humanity which he can
accuse, abuse and misuse.
It is that which allows us to appeal to all humanity with the gospel message in the stead of Jesus with his authority and power.
Making us ministers of reconciliation. It is that which allows us in the presence of the Father without blushing. It is the rightness
of God standing against all the wrongness of sin. To say we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is to declare we are
all that Jesus was on earth, doing what Jesus did and greater works than he did to God's glory and for mans sake. Always with
this attitude of mind;

Philippians 2:3-8
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
KJV

Always with the humility of Jesus.

I am not come of myself.

John 7:28
28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of
myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
KJV

I can do nothing of myself.

John 8:28
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing
of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
KJV

I seek not mine own Glory.

John 8:50
50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
KJV

I receive not honor from men.

John 5:41
41 I receive not honour from men.
KJV

I came down from heaven not to do mine own will.

John 6:38
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
KJV

As the righteousness in Christ Jesus let this be the humility of your mind. If not then I doubt you have become that
righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. If that mind be in you then go light your world and let the rightness of God cry out
against the darkness.
