Your Harvest
Proverbs 11:24-25
24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. KJV
Everyone in financial need should hear and understand this portion of scripture. This is God's way of breaking the back of
poverty in your life as well as helping those who do not know this scripture. It is God's way of building the church up
through mission's outreach. There is no one who cannot participate in this plan of prosperity. God would not devise a plan
that would help only a selected few. God wants everyone helped.
To scatter is to give or sow a seed into something or someone’s life. The potential harvest is in the seed scattered or sown.
And everyone has a seed!
2 Corinthians 8:11
11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of
that which ye have. KJV
If there first be a willing mind, it is accepted according to what you have, and not according to what you do not have,
everybody has something to sow and that gives everyone a chance to break out of poverty, to become financially able, to
be debt free. Now what you have to sow gives God a chance to gives or causes men to give into your life what you need.
But first you have to sow! Sow with a willing mind and what you sow will be accepted. And what is accepted will be like the
earth receiving the farmer’s seed. Now comes the watering of the seed planted and harvest time will be next. What you and
I sow will be watered with our praises and thanksgiving unto God. And your harvest will be more than enough.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
6[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows
generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.
7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under
compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a
cheerful (joyous, "prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]. [Prov 22:9.]
8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always
and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and
furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. AMP
Start scattering your seed with the determination, skill and wisdom of God and prepare for your harvest.
Then there is the person who holds on too tight and looses everything they have. Why? They never planted a seed. And
when what they had ran out they had no fresh harvest. This could have been the case of the widow and her son in 1
King's17:8-16 had she held on too tight and not sown into the prophets needs. The person who holds on too tight is a
person which is not diligent with what they have and they are not good stewards with what they have.
Diligent means determined and stewardship skill. People who hold on too tight do not skillfully sow with determined purpose
to have a good harvest. When what they have is gone there is nothing else for them to do but without. Unless they take
what they have left and plant for a harvest, they lost everything but the button on their shirt, a handkerchief, shoelace, pen,
etc... remember the seed is accepted according to what you have.
And before you start over, start with repentance of your disobedience to sow in the beginning.
The liberal soul will be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered. Proverbs 11:25 A-Men!
And how shall we be fattened and watered?
Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men
give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
KJV
Don't miss your opportunity for harvest.
